Perftech’s brand-new hot needle perforator is perfect for applications that require a high level of permeation across the substrate. Hot needle perforation works well on plastic, paper, textiles, non-woven fibers and thin-gauge metals.

Computer-controlled and servo-driven, this equipment produces very clean and precise perforations with densities of 1 to 500 holes per square inch. It is an ideal technology for applications requiring effects such as venting or filtration.

Mechanical perforation is used mainly for applications that need a high level of air or moisture movement through a substrate. Many of our mechanically perforated products are found in the industrial markets for applications such as venting for off-gassing.
